First Time Login
Open the app and review the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy for the app.
Select the I Agree button to proceed to the sign in page.
You will be prompted to log in using the Johns Hopkins Single Sign On system (use your JHED ID and password to log in).
The app will ask you to allow push notifications and may ask you for camera access on your phone.
Push notifications about checking out of spaces, density, and alerts are sent to specific groups of users.
Camera access is only necessary for users assigned to a space. These features can be adjusted any time in your phone settings.
Onboarding
The app will take you through onboarding screens to show features: health, density management, notifications, and resources.
Landing Page
If you have not taken the COVID Health Check within the last 12 hours, you will be prompted to take the Health Check to access the Campus Pass and home screen.
Once you have completed your COVID Health Check, you can access the home screen, which will show your Active Campus Pass allowing your entry to campus.
Using the Prodensity Widget:
The Prodensity widget allows you to keep Prodensity data at your fingertips. You can add the widget to your Home Screen or Widget Center with iOS 14+.
Touch and hold any widget or an empty area until the app icons jiggle. Tap the Add (+) button in the upper left corner.
Select a widget, choose from small or medium sizes (note: some features are only available on the medium size).
Tap Add Widget. Tap Done.
- With the Prodensity widget you can:
- Access your Campus Pass
- If checked into a work space, you can check out
- If not checked in, you can view your space list
- Retake the Health Check
You can edit the Prodensity widget to include these options:
- Launch to Campus Pass
- Set Campus Pass color as background
- Hide app icon on widget
To do so, touch and hold the widget to open the quick actions menu. Tap Edit Widget. Make your changes, then tap outside of the widget to exit.
You can also move your widgets around to put your favorites where they’re easier to find. Just touch and hold a widget until it jiggles, then move the widget around on the screen.
Information provided in the widget is based on Prodensity app usage. If you use the Prodensity website instead, the widget may not sync with your profile and you must launch the app to update the widget.
