Use of the app is optional. You may complete your COVID Health Check through myJH by enabling COVID Health Check reminders on your myJH Profile. You may also check into your monitored spaces manually by visiting the security desk.
If you choose to use the app, note that high-level data on app usage is collected for quality purposes. Your COVID Health Check results are collected and stored for 30 days and could be shared confidentially with the Johns Hopkins COVID Call Center if your responses to the COVID Health Check match COVID-19 symptoms or indicate exposure. Your check-in / check-out information (only for those assigned to spaces), is also collected and shared with security personnel to monitor density levels in buildings.
High-level app usage data may be shared automatically with the app development team for quality purposes. Upon first access of a section with shareable data, you will receive an alert explaining how your data may be shared.
Other users cannot see your COVID Health Check data. Density information (who is currently in the space) is viewable to other team members assigned to the same work location.
Tap the gear button in the upper right corner of the screen to access Settings and select “Terms and Conditions.”
